Now, at 62, I can honestly say that I feel much better than I did at 52. When the original proprietor, Dr. Lorenz Hamburger, moved to Florida, I was naturally concerned. But he took great care in choosing his successor and has left his patients in the very capable hands of Dr. Van Galjour. Dr. Van is knowledgeable, skillful, professional, thoughtful, and affable. I am entirely confident and comfortable letting Dr. Van adjust my neck and spine. “Wellness in motion” is a simple but profound principle. Don’t lie down—keep moving! What an excellent chiropractor like Dr. Van can do is to free up your neck and spine so that you can help yourself with daily stretching and exercise. Eight years ago, I could hardly turn my neck, and my trap muscles were constantly tight and caused me chronic pain. My lower back was even worse, due to two bad discs. I experienced frequent terrible muscle spasms and at times was virtually incapacitated. Now, as I sit at my desk (or behind the wheel), I can turn my head in either direction and look behind me. Not only is it not painful to do that, it actually feels great because I can feel my spine turning from top to bottom just the way it is supposed to.

“I had been dealing with debilitating hip pain and after my first visit to Wellness in Motion I was already feeling relief. Dr. Van has been critical in the maintenance of my spine and doesn’t stop there— he also treats extremities. I was thrilled to learn that he incorporates dry needling into visits when necessary. He takes the time to really evaluate how his patients are on the day of their visit and adjusts treatment accordingly while continuing the planned maintenance as well. Dr. Van is super knowledgeable and happily and patiently answers questions and explains things in ways that even engages my 12 year old son who has also been benefiting from chiropractic care.
